I have been able to meet and make some pretty good friends since I've moved to Berlin. These next photos will show the good times we have. My friends are sooo fun and not afraid to get a little crazy. I love it and I love them! On Thursdays after Institute, we usually go and hang out together somewhere. Here are some things we have done: We have gone for late night Gelato at Potsdamer Platz, hung out at the best McCafe in Berlin...and I think anywhere..., went to a funky cafe and had tea and hot chocolate while playing "I have never", watched movies, played games, went to Dussmanns (like Borders or Chapters) and read children's books to each other. Yet, we hang out other days of the week too, we have Karaoked, celebrated Birthdays, had late night chats, all night movie nights, toured Berlin, hunted easter eggs, played drums and to tell you the truth, it all started with the Fat Boy...Enjoy.

The McCafe on Kudamm is the best McCafe I have ever been in and will frequent most often because it is soooo cool.Yup, these are books in the McCafe.I love it.
My former roommate works for a radio station and was able to get free tickets to an Alba Berlin Basketball Game. I invited my friend Nadir because he loves sports and was going on his mission soon. This was his first live Professional Basketball game. It's not a big deal in Germany but the crowd was so awesome. I posted two videos. Alba won in overtime!!!

Heidi (my former roommate) and I. We still keep in touch, she is awesome.
I met a new friend from Norway that was visiting for a few days in Berlin and since I had free time, we hung out while he was here. He had visited Berlin before so he was able to show me a few places and we had some good times. There is a metal sculpture garten on Oranienburgerstrasse. The same street where my Hostel is that I stayed at when I first arrived in Berlin. Felt so long ago.

May 1st long weekend. I hung out with Britta & Matti. Britta was visiting from Frankfurt and Matti, from Hamburg, but he usually comes back to Berlin on long weekends. We had breakfast in a Turkish Doener place and then headed to the Botanischer Garten. It is large and quite pretty. Matti's recommendation and it was a good one. Here we travelled the world...I recognised the North American area immediately...it felt good to walk through it:)

Ward Picnic at Volkspark Jungfernheide. We had food, tossed the American football around and discovered this wonderful beach and clear lake. The weather was gorgeous and so hot. A perfect May 1st holiday. Afterwards, Matti, Nascha, Polly, Joseph and I all went out for some Eis that was nearby. I love Eis!!
Nascha, ward primary girl and I...so happy standing in the sandy beach. Nascha is the friend that always knows the coolest places to go eat, hang out, visit, etc. She is always in the know and loves to have fun.
