My friend Saria convinced me to go to a Valentine's YSA convention in Gothenburg, Sweden. The flight was 32 euros roundtrip....how could I say no :) So, I went with a group of good friends, we rented a car and drove from Stockholm to Gothenburg...across Sweden - 5 hours. It was so lovely, it reminded me of driving the sea to sky highway back home but without the ocean on one side...yet still lovely. It was a great time and everyone in Sweden is goodlooking. The people are very friendly, the food is spectacular and the Swedes love to dance! It was a great weekend. I met a girl who's mother is Canadian and Father is Swedish. She really loved to talk about Canada and has such a love for it that it was great talking about familiar things...even though she mostly knows Winnipeg, Alberta and Ontario. I am in love with Scandinavia and I definitely foresee me going back in the future.
