I was reading my friend's blog and was reminded about the greatness of the Olympics! I do love the Olympics, I do, I do, I do! I become patriotic towards my country and quite interested in Canadian Pride. I think it's a great feat & bravery for those Olympians to be able to participate and know that the whole world is watching and they are wholly representing their country in that sport! I am not a fan of Winter Olympics but I am a Canadian and so I will be cheering for Canada the whole time. I love the Summer Olympics and I think I am going to make plans to go to the 2012 Olympics in London. How wonderful would that be??
Our weather is not really supporting our Winter Olympics and some of the decisions VANOC made regarding traffic/pedestrian diversion is very ineffective and frustrating for those that live downtown, but in just one week, Vancouver will be home to thousands of visitors & Athletes from all over the world to partake in this glorious world event! In my hometown...truly fantastic!
